The first volume of "Flora of Altay" has been published!

This volume has some sections that give basic characteristics of vegetation and natural conditions of the Altay Mountains; the botany-geographical division of the territories into districts is shown and the keys for the determination of the families are given in this volume.
The summary includes descriptions of 20 families of higher plants having spores. Each species has its own synonyms, geographical spreading within and outside Altay, growing conditions and also chromosomal numbers. The majority of species are shown. Spot maps of the natural habitats illustrate their spreading.
This publication is intended for botanists, specialists in study of flora, agronomists, teachers, students and specialists engaged in environment protection.
The Magazine "Turczaninowia"
It is published 4 times a year, has constant columns such as systematic surveys, new taxons and finds in flora.
